Happy Anniverary to my Heela!!

It was 5 years ago today that the Heelamonster and I were married!!

So hard to believe!
(that it has been 5 years already, not that he wanted to marry me! ;)

It was an absolutely GORGEOUS day and I remember how pleased I was that the weather was perfect that whole weekend. We both had A TON of family come from out of town and most of them made a full weekend out of it so they could go into Washington DC and do some sightseeing before the wedding. The wedding ceremony itself was relatively short and sweet, but the reception... FABulous!! It lasted 6 hours, featured LOTS of dancing and a splurge on the food and drinks. Here was the menu:

Field Greens, Gorgonzola Cheese, Diced Pears and Candied Pecans with Maple Gorgonzola Vinaigrette

It was an amazing spread!! And SUCH a good party!!! I wish we could do it all again!!

Since that day, we have been blessed with two beautiful girls who make our lives complete.

I couldn't do it without you Heela! Thank you for a wonderful 5 years!!
